The pieces
Made slowly, signature by signature
Four pieces we're known for — each hand-finished in our UK studio, in the two materials we can't stop thinking about.
The marble coaster set
Hand-poured stone-effect coasters. Every set arrives with its own drift of pigment and grain — never quite the same twice.
The ribbed vase
Precision 3D-printed in plant-based filament. Matte finish, ribbed silhouette — five neutral colourways.
The bunny soap dish
A quiet moment at the sink. Marble-effect PLA, printed to hold a bar without slipping — small, sculptural, considered.
Materials & making
Two materials, one obsession
Every piece in the Rovera studio starts life as either a poured stone-effect concrete or a precision 3D print. Both give us sculptural detail impossible to mass-produce — and a tactile, matte finish that quiet interiors deserve.
Stone-effect concrete
Hand-poured in small batches, cured for 72 hours. Weight, warmth, honest imperfection.
Precision 3D-printed PLA
Plant-based filament, printed to the millimetre. Sculptural silhouettes, matte finish, endless colourways.
Questions
Things people often ask
Materials, care, delivery, custom orders — everything we get asked most.
Still not sure? Email contact@roveraselections.com — we usually reply within a day.
What is Jesmonite, and how is it different from concrete?
Jesmonite is a water-based composite that gives us the weight and matte finish of stone with none of concrete's brittleness. It's what our marble-effect coasters and cement pieces are cast from — every one is poured by hand, and small variations in pigment and grain are what make each set unique.
Is your 3D-printed decor durable?
Yes. We print in premium PLA — a plant-based filament — at higher wall counts and infill than most Etsy-scale printers, so pieces feel solid rather than hollow. Keep them away from direct sunlight and heat above 50°C and they'll stay sculptural for years.
How do I care for each material?
Jesmonite: wipe with a soft dry cloth; a damp cloth for spills. Avoid soaking or dishwasher.
PLA: wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Don't put in the dishwasher or leave in a hot car.
Both: ceramic sealant is applied at the studio, but re-seal every year or two if pieces live near a sink or steam.
How long does UK delivery take?
Most in-stock pieces ship within 2 business days via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Made-to-order colourways add 3–5 studio days before shipping. UK orders over £20 ship free; standard shipping otherwise is £3.95.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — to most of Europe and the US. Rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout by weight. Duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility outside the UK.
Can I request a custom colour or size?
Often, yes — especially for the vases, bookends, and Jesmonite coasters. Email contact@roveraselections.com with what you have in mind and we'll come back within a day with a quote and lead time.
What's your returns policy?
30 days from delivery, no questions asked. Pieces must be unused and returned in their original packaging. Made-to-order colourways and custom sizes are non-returnable unless faulty.
